I went to Toronto 4 to 5 weeks a year from 2004 to 2015 to visit my core group of friends. As a gay man living in Milwaukee and surviving the Jeffrey Dahmer years I always felt Toronto was safe. There would be two sites i would rely on to meet other gay men. As my friends would cook dinner, that would be a solid hour of time i would sit on their desktop cruisng those sites. One guy who always stuck out to me was Bruce. At the start of Bruce pursuing me on these sites I would always just say no thanks to his aggressive advances because he came off very desperate to me. He would tell me flat out he was interested in men who werent local and always offered to meet for coffee, show me the sites, and i still said no thanks. After the routine weekly no thanks i would give him he was always interested in discussing where I was from and my relation to being out in the same bars Jeffrey Dahmer would get his victims. This is when i would get especially spooked and give me the chills. He became very aggressive on knowing more about me and how i survived those Jeffrey Dahmer years. I finally just snapped and told him to stop bothering me online because i felt it was becoming a stalking situation where he always wanted to know where i would be hanging out, who my friends were, etc. To find out about this story years later on RUclips i just while not surprised felt that my Angels kept me protected from this aggressive predator.
